Holistic Nursing

Holistic nursing is an approach to healthcare that emphasizes the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of the patient. This form of nursing integrates traditional and alternative therapies to provide an individualized, comprehensive plan of care. Holistic nursing focuses on addressing physical symptoms, mental and emotional states, lifestyle, and spiritual beliefs. Its goal is to help patients achieve their best physical and mental health, which in turn can help to reduce stress and improve overall quality of life. Holistic nursing is used to address a variety of health issues, such as chronic pain, depression, anxiety, sleep disturbance, and physical and mental health disorders. By providing holistic care, nurses can help to empower patients to take charge of their wellness and provide an improved sense of well-being.
