Hemostatics

Hemostatics are substances used to control or stop bleeding. They can be used alone or in combination with other treatments to help stop bleeding quickly. Hemostatics are used in a range of medical fields, including surgery, dentistry, trauma, and obstetrics and gynecology. They are used to reduce or prevent bleeding in patients who have had a traumatic injury, surgery, or childbirth. They can also help reduce bleeding disorders, such as hemophilia, by controlling blood loss and preventing death or disability due to excessive bleeding. By stopping bleeding quickly and effectively, hemostatics save lives and contribute to improved patient outcomes, making them an essential tool in the medical field.
