Pathology Hematology

Pathology Hematology is the study of blood and its components. It is an essential part of medical science as it helps in diagnosing, treating and preventing various diseases. Hematology covers a wide range of topics such as blood diseases, blood cancers, hematological malignancies, anemias, thrombosis and hemostasis, transfusion medicine, immunohematology and bone marrow transplantation. Hematology also evaluates the structure and function of the body’s cells, tissues, and organs. It helps in the identification of diseases and conditions such as anemia, leukemia, hemophilia, sickle cell disease, thalassemias, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. Pathology Hematology also has potential as a research tool in uncovering new treatments and diagnostics for various diseases.
