of the eye The eye is a complex visual organ that consists of numerous parts and components, which are arranged in a specific way to allow the eyes to capture, interpret and transmit light, color and other visual information. One of the most important components of the eye is the orbit, which is a hollow, cone-shaped structure that houses and protects the eye. The orbit is composed of six bones: the frontal, zygomatic, sphenoid, ethmoid, maxillary, and palatine bones, which are arranged in such a way that they provide robust protection for the eye and its components, including the lens and the retina. Additional muscles and tendons attach the bones of the orbit, allowing for movement and positioning of the eye. The anatomy of the eye's orbit is essential for proper functioning of the visual system and plays a major role in its ability to perceive the world around us.
