Lipemia

Lipemia refers to the presence of an abnormally high concentration of lipids (fats) in the blood. It is generally caused by an excess intake of lipids or other dietary components such as carbohydrates. Lipemia is an important indicator of metabolic health, and its presence in the blood may be indicative of metabolic disorders, including obesity, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome. It can also be used as a marker for cardiovascular disease and is a useful tool for monitoring overall health. Treatment for lipemia generally involves modification of dietary habits and lifestyle changes.
