Kidney Failure

Kidney failure (also known as renal failure) is a serious medical condition in which the kidneys fail to properly filter waste products and toxins from the blood. This can lead to a buildup of toxins in the blood, causing a variety of symptoms such as fatigue, swelling, and even death. Treatment for kidney failure includes lifestyle modifications to reduce the strain on the kidneys, as well as medications, dialysis, and possible kidney transplantation. In severe cases, kidney failure can be life-threatening, but with proper treatment, many people can still lead full, active lives. Kidney failure is a potentially devastating condition, but it is also preventable through healthy lifestyle choices, such as not smoking and eating a balanced diet.
