Enteropathies

Enteropathies are a group of diseases that affect the gastrointestinal tract, causing symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and difficulty in passing stools. These diseases can be caused by various factors, including bacterial, viral, and parasitic infections, food allergies, and the use of certain medications. They are one of the most common causes of morbidity and mortality across the world, particularly in developing countries. Treatment is aimed at addressing the underlying cause, such as antibiotics for bacterial infections, and often includes dietary modifications. Identifying and treating enteropathies early is important to reduce the severity of symptoms and prevent complications from arising.
