Genetic Loci
Genetic Loci are specific locations on a chromosome that contain genetic information. Each loci contains one or more genes, and they play an essential role in the production of proteins and other cellular products necessary for life. They are also important for molecular and medical research, as specific loci can be used to trace inherited diseases and other genetic conditions. Additionally, it is possible to research how genetic variation at different loci affects various traits, both quantitative and qualitative.
