Chromosome Analysis
Chromosome analysis is a powerful tool in molecular biology and genetics. It is used to examine the number of chromosomes in a cell, as well as identify any abnormalities or changes in a person's genetic make-up. This analysis can be used to diagnose a wide variety of genetic disorders, such as Down syndrome, and also may be employed in prenatal screening to detect any abnormalities in a developing fetus. Additionally, chromosome analysis may be used for investigations on carcinogenesis and for identifying the causes of infertility. It is a valuable diagnostic tool in modern medicine and helps to improve quality of life.
