Chromosome 14

Chromosome 14 is a chromosome present in humans and other species. It is important because it codes for various proteins and enzymes that are essential for life to exist. Chromosome 14 is also significant because it has been linked to several diseases, such as Huntington's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and DiGeorge Syndrome. In addition to its medical importance, chromosome 14 is also used in scientific research to study the behaviour and evolution of organisms and to advance understanding of genetic disorders and development.
