Frontal Bones

The frontal bones are two large bones located in the frontal region of the skull and form the forehead, part of the orbits and part of the nasal cavity. They are an important component of the cranium, providing structural support and protection of the brain. The frontal bones are important for facial structure, allowing various facial expressions and aiding in the sense of smell. They are also important for the attachment and protection of the eyes. They also play a role in speech and hearing, by providing a secure platform for the skull and thus the facial muscles.
