Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a mental health condition characterized by difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, and/or impulsivity. ADHD is one of the most common childhood mental health disorders, and can continue into adulthood. Symptoms of ADHD can interfere with learning, academic achievement, behavior, social interactions, and overall functioning. Treatment for ADHD includes medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. With appropriate treatment, people with ADHD can achieve success and improved quality of life.
