Cervical Cancer and Exercise
Cervical cancer is a cancer that affects the cervix, the lower end of the uterus. Exercise has been found to be an important factor in the prevention and survival of cervical cancer. Studies have shown that regular physical activity can reduce the risk of cervical cancer and has been linked to improved survival for those who have been diagnosed with the disease. Exercise can also help to reduce the side effects of cancer treatment, such as fatigue and anxiety. Through regular exercise, people with cervical cancer can maintain strength and mobility, and improve their overall quality of life.
