Carbohydrates Training

Carbohydrates (‘carbs’) are an important part of any athlete’s diet. During exercise, the body breaks down carbohydrates and converts them into energy. Eating enough carbohydrates can help improve performance and endurance, as well as increase muscular strength. Supplementing with carbohydrates while training can provide a steady supply of energy, allowing athletes to push further and harder. On the other hand, inadequate carbohydrates intake can lead to decreased performance, fatigue and loss of concentration. Knowing how to properly use carbohydrates as part of your training regime is essential for achieving optimal performance.
