Carbohydrate-induced Obesity
Carbohydrate-induced obesity is a type of overweight or obesity caused due to a high carb diet. This can occur when a person consumes an excess of food that is high in carbohydrates, such as bread, pasta, pastry and desserts, while not exercising regularly. A diet that is high in carbohydrates can lead to weight gain and lead to health issues such as insulin resistance and high cholesterol. To avoid carbohydrate-induced obesity, it is important to focus on a balanced diet that includes healthy amounts of protein, fat and carbohydrates, and regular exercise.
