Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans
Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) is a rare type of skin cancer. It usually presents as a slow-growing, reddish-brown to purple-colored mass on the skin. DFSP has the potential to locally invade and spread to other parts of the body. Treatment for DFSP includes surgical removal, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. Early detection and prompt treatment are essential for successful outcomes. DFSP can be a very dangerous form of skin cancer, and early diagnosis and effective treatment are important for achieving the best possible outcomes.
