Public Health
Public health is a field of study and practice aimed at promoting health, preventing illnesses, and prolonging life by protecting populations from harmful health threats. It seeks to ensure that all individuals, regardless of social and economic standing, have access to the information, resources, and healthcare they need to maintain and improve health over their lifetime. Public health interventions are used to reduce disease and improve quality of life through health education, environmental protection, immunizations, regulation of health services, and more. Public health is a global issue, as individuals and populations around the world are impacted by the same health risks, such as air pollution, infectious diseases, and poverty. Public health is essential to tackling global health disparities and promoting good health for everyone.
