Milk Production

Milk production is a process which involves the systematic extraction of milk from dairy animals such as cows, goats, and sheep. Milk is an important source of nutrition for millions of people across the world, providing vital nutrients such as proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. Milk production is a complex process which includes various activities such as selecting the genetic composition of dairy animals, proper nutrition and feed management, milking, collecting and storing the milk, and ensuring that it meets safety standards. In addition, milk production helps sustain rural economies and acts as a major source of income for farmers.
