Breast Tumors
Breast tumors are abnormal growths that can occur in the breast tissue of women and men. They may be cancerous or benign. Cancerous tumors can spread to other parts of the body and invade nearby tissue, while benign tumors generally do not spread and can usually be removed. Early detection and diagnosis of breast tumors is important for successful treatment and improved outcomes. Mammograms, ultrasounds, and other imaging tests can be used to detect and diagnose breast tumors. Treatment options vary depending on the type and stage of the tumor, but may include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and/or hormone therapy.
