Biophysics of Cancer
Biophysics is a field of science that studies the physical properties of biological systems. In the context of cancer, biophysics is used to investigate the underlying molecular and cellular mechanisms that lead to cancer formation, metastasis, and progression. Studies in this field can also help to identify potential therapeutic targets, elucidate drug delivery methods, and optimize radiation therapy. By better understanding the complex underlying biophysics associated with cancer, researchers can design more effective treatments and hopefully, improve patient outcomes.
