Stress Disorder
Stress Disorder is a mental health problem which can develop from feeling overwhelmed from a combination of long-term stress, traumatic events, or life changes. It is characterized by a range of psychological and physical symptoms, such as feelings of restlessness, irritability, difficulty sleeping, difficulty concentrating and changes in appetite or weight. Stress Disorder can significantly impact an individual’s life, leading to impaired functioning in daily activities such as work, relationships, or self-care. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Medication, and Relaxation Techniques are some of the most common treatments for Stress Disorder. Treatment can help reduce the impact of stress on the individual, in order to improve overall functioning and quality of life.
