Pathology

Pathology is the study of diseases and how they affect the body and how the body responds to them. By examining the biological effects of disease, pathology helps physicians and other medical professionals diagnose and treat illnesses. Pathology also plays a role in research by providing insight into how diseases operate on a cellular level and how to develop treatments.
