Neurophysiology
Neurophysiology is the scientific study of the electrical and chemical activity of the brain, nervous system and their influence on behavior and learning. It involves understanding how neurons communicate with each other, how nerve impulses are generated, and how these processes are affected by various neurological disorders. Neurophysiology is an important and growing field of medical research with numerous applications such as the development of new treatments for neurological and psychiatric diseases, assessment of brain functional status, and the development of brain-computer interfaces.
