Convulsion
A convulsion is a sudden, involuntary, and often violent contraction of a muscle or group of muscles. The severity of a convulsion can range from mild twitching to a full body seizure, which can be violent and have a dangerous outcome. It is a sign of an underlying disorder such as epilepsy, encephalopathy, or meningitis and can result from a variety of causes including high fever, drug or alcohol withdrawal, or a head injury. Prompt medical attention is important, as recurrent seizures can cause long-term damage to the brain if left untreated.

A brain tumor is an abnormal growth of tissue in the brain or central spine that can disrupt proper brain function. Doctors refer to a tumor based on where the tumor cells originated, and whether they are cancerous or not. Brain and spinal cord tumors are different for everyone. They form in different areas and develop from different cell types.
