Brain Tumor Causes
Brain tumors are abnormal growths in the brain caused by unregulated cell division. They can be either benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). Brain tumors can cause neurological symptoms such as headaches, balance and coordination difficulties, seizures, and vision and hearing issues and can ultimately be fatal. Brain tumors can be treated through a combination of surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Early detection is key to achieving successful treatment outcomes, so it is important for everyone to be aware of the signs and symptoms of a potential brain tumor.
