Brain Tumor
A brain tumor is an abnormal mass of tissue which is growing in the brain and can cause serious health complications. It is usually caused by a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Brain tumors can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). Depending on the type and location, they can cause a wide range of issues, including seizures and cognitive difficulties. Treatment typically involves surgery, radiation, and/or chemotherapy, depending on the type and stage of the tumor. Early detection is key for successful treatment, so it is important to be aware of the signs and symptoms and to seek medical attention if any are present.
