Brain Stem Cell Therapy
Brain stem cell therapy is a promising form of medical treatment that utilizes stem cells to replace damaged or injured brain cells, potentially restoring lost neurological function. This method is being studied as a potential way to treat a variety of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Stem cells are harvested from the patient themselves, or from a donor, and then transplanted into the brain. By replacing lost or damaged cells, brain stem cell therapy could improve the overall health and functioning of the brain. Although still in its early stages, this type of treatment has the potential to drastically improve the quality of life for people suffering from debilitating neurological diseases.
