White Blood Cells
White Blood Cells, also known as Leukocytes, are a type of cell found in the human body that help protect against infection and foreign objects. They are produced in the bone marrow and circulate through the bloodstream looking for the invaders. When they find a foreign object, the white blood cells will engulf and destroy it. These cells are essential for maintaining a healthy body as they help us fight diseases and infections. White Blood Cells play a major role in our body’s immune system and their deficiency can lead to a weakened immune system, making us more vulnerable to diseases and infections.
