the Musculoskeletal System
The Musculoskeletal System comprises the muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones, and cartilage of the body. It works together to support the body and enables us to move. Without a strong and healthy musculoskeletal system, our ability to move, lift, and remain active would be greatly diminished. It is important in our daily interactions, providing us with posture, balance, and coordination. The Musculoskeletal System is also affected by many diseases and conditions such as osteoporosis, arthritis, and sports injuries, among many others. Maintaining its health is essential to being able to move around freely. Exercise, a well-balanced diet, and regular check-ups with a physician can all help to ensure its longevity.
