Eosinophilia

Eosinophilia is a medical condition characterized by a high number of eosinophils — a type of white blood cell — in the blood and tissues. This condition is associated with allergic reactions, parasitic infections and a variety of other diseases. It can also be used as a marker for diagnosing and monitoring certain types of cancer. Eosinophilia can be treated with anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics or by managing environmental factors that trigger the allergic reactions. Early diagnosis and treatment can help prevent complications and reduce the severity of symptoms.
