Bone Marrow Cancer
Bone marrow cancer, also known as myeloma, is a type of cancer that affects the bone marrow. It is caused by the abnormal growth of cells within the bone marrow, which leads to the uncontrolled production of white blood cells. Bone marrow cancer can cause a variety of symptoms, including anemia, fatigue, bone pain, frequent infections, and organ damage. Treatment for bone marrow cancer typically involves chemotherapy, radiation therapy, stem cell transplants, and targeted therapy. Bone marrow cancer can be life-threatening, however, early diagnosis and treatment can lead to improved outcomes.
