Bone Cancer
Bone cancer is a type of cancer that develops in the cells of the bone. It is typically divided into two main categories, primary bone cancer and secondary bone cancer. Primary bone cancer refers to cancer that originates in the bone, and secondary bone cancer refers to cancer that has spread from another part of the body to the bones. Bone cancer can be life-threatening if it is not diagnosed and treated early. Treatment usually involves surgery, radiation therapy, and/or chemotherapy. Bone cancer can be difficult to diagnose and treat, so early detection and regular screenings are important. There is currently no known way to prevent bone cancer, but with proper treatment, individuals with bone cancer can often have a positive outcome.
