Chyle

Chyle is a milky fluid that is produced by the small intestine during the digestion of dietary fats. It is composed of lymphatic fluid, triglycerides, proteins, and cholesterol. It is then transported to the thoracic duct, where it is released into the bloodstream. Chyle is important to human health as it helps to transport dietary fats, proteins, and cholesterol to the liver, where they are used for energy production and other metabolic functions. It is also important for the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins and the maintenance of healthy cholesterol levels. Chyle is also used in medical diagnostics, such as lymphangiography, to detect abnormal lymph vessels. In addition, it is used in food processing, as a dairy product stabilizer and emulsifier.
