Breast Milk
Breast milk is the primary source of nutrition for newborn infants, providing vital nutrients and antibodies that are essential for growth and development. Breast milk is considered the best nourishment for a baby, as it contains antibodies from the mother that help protect the baby from illnesses and infections. It is beneficial for the baby’s physical, mental and emotional health, as well as helping to reduce the risk of various diseases such as diabetes, obesity and gastroenteritis. Furthermore, breastfeeding helps promote a strong bond between mother and baby, by stimulating the release of oxytocin, a hormone that helps to strengthen their connection. Breast milk is also increasingly being used in medical treatments, such as helping to reduce inflammation and improve wound healing.
