Body Fluids
Body fluid is a term used to describe the different liquids found in the human body. These fluids are essential for the normal functioning of the body, such as carrying essential nutrients and oxygen throughout the body, eliminating toxins and waste, regulating temperature and maintaining pH balance. Some of the most important body fluids include blood, lymph, saliva, tears and sweat. Each of these fluids plays an important role in our health, helping to keep our body healthy and functioning properly. For example, our blood provides oxygen and nutrients to our cells, helps reduce inflammation and fights off infection. Saliva helps with digestion and much more. Tears help protect the eye from any foreign particles and lubricate the eye. Sweat helps to keep us cool, regulates the body’s temperature and can help eliminate toxins. Overall, these body fluids are essential to keeping the body healthy and functioning properly and are incredibly important for our overall health and wellbeing.
