Acidosis

Acidosis is a condition in which the body has an abnormally low pH level, meaning it is more acidic than normal. It occurs when there is an imbalance between acids and bases, causing the body to become too acidic. Acidosis can have many causes and is a serious medical condition that can lead to significant harm, even death. It is important to be aware of potential risk factors, such as poor diet, certain medications, or certain health conditions, and seek medical treatment as soon as possible. Treatment typically involves addressing the underlying cause and restoring the body’s pH balance. Acidosis can also be treated with dietary changes, medications, and other therapies. Understanding and managing acidosis can be an important component of overall health and wellness.
