Hypertension Complications
Hypertension, or high blood pressure, is a common condition that can lead to a variety of serious complications if left untreated. Hypertension complications can include stroke, heart attack, kidney and eye damage, aneurysm, and heart failure. The long-term use of antihypertensive medications is the most effective way to reduce the risk of complications associated with hypertension. Additionally, lifestyle changes such as maintaining a healthy weight, exercising regularly, and eating a balanced diet can help reduce the risk of developing hypertension and its potentially life-threatening complications.
