Blood Pressure Response
Blood pressure response is the physiological response of the body to changes in the external environment. It is an important indicator of a person's overall health and well-being. In response to changes in environment, the body increases or decreases the pressure of the circulating blood in the arteries. This is done by controlling the amount of blood pumped by the heart, narrowing or widening the blood vessels (vasoconstriction), and regulating the volume of circulating blood. High or low blood pressure is a sign of an unhealthy body, and changes in blood pressure response can be used to diagnose medical conditions such as hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes. Knowing the blood pressure response of a person can help in the diagnosis, management and treatment of many diseases, as well as helping to ensure a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
