Synthetic Plasmids

Synthetic plasmids are circular pieces of DNA used to alter the genetic makeup of cells. They are used to introduce important traits into organisms and as tools to study gene regulation and protein expression. They are important tools in genetic engineering, providing an efficient and convenient way to manipulate genetic material. They are commonly used in biotechnology research, in which they are used to introduce genes into organisms, and in medical research, where they are used to deliver therapeutic genes into cells. Synthetic plasmids are increasingly being used in the development of new treatments and therapies for a variety of diseases.
