Computational Biology

Computational biology is a field of science that uses computer-based techniques to analyze and study biological data. It is an interdisciplinary field, combining elements from computer science, mathematics, and molecular biology. Computational biology helps to understand complex biological systems, analyze and predict the behavior of cells in particular environments, and generate insights into the function and structure of proteins and other molecules. It is of significant importance in pharmaceuticals, systems biology, biotechnology, and medical research. Computational biology is also used to develop new strategies and therapies for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases.
