Biosensors
Biosensors are devices capable of converting biological reactions into electrical signals and are used in the diagnosis and monitoring of a wide range of biological and environmental processes. They are important tools in healthcare, environmental monitoring, and food security, as well as many other industries. Biosensors can detect a wide range of analytes such as glucose, ions, hormones, proteins and toxins. They are highly sensitive, selective and cost-effective and can rapidly provide accurate results. Furthermore, biosensors are often miniaturized, can be integrated onto a chip, and can be used with portable and wireless applications. The growing availability of biosensors is revolutionizing many areas of research, making diagnostics faster and more efficient.
