Biological Insecticides
Biological insecticides are biopesticides derived from natural sources, such as bacteria, fungi, viruses, or other living organisms, that are used to control pests. They are typically used to target pests without adversely affecting other organisms, such as bees and beneficial insects. This makes biological insecticides an important tool for reducing environmental impacts of insect pests, as well as a useful tool in integrated pest management. Biological insecticides are available in many formulations, including liquid sprays, granules, and dusts, and can be used in residential, agricultural, and industrial settings.
