Bioethanol
Bioethanol is an alcohol-based, renewable fuel produced by fermenting and distilling agricultural crops like corn, wheat, and sugar cane. It has several advantages compared to traditional fossil fuels, including being better for the environment as it emits fewer air pollutants and greenhouse gases. In addition, it is a cleaner burning fuel that is also renewable, meaning it can be replenished over time. Bioethanol is used in several industries including transport, electricity production and for home heating. It is also used in the manufacture of household products like kitchen surface cleaners and cosmetics. As the world continues to transition away from the use of fossil fuels, bioethanol is an important step in moving towards a more sustainable future.
