Hydrogels

Hydrogels are a type of material composed of water and polymer chains. They are widely used in diverse areas such as tissue engineering, medical diagnostics, drug delivery and water filtration. Their unique properties make them ideal for a variety of applications. Hydrogels can absorb large amounts of water, swell and shrink in response to changes in humidity and temperature, and are biocompatible. This makes them useful for wound dressings and drug delivery systems, as they can adapt to their environment. In addition, their ability to absorb and release liquid allows them to be used as water filters and to separate oil and water. Hydrogels are a unique and versatile material with a wide range of uses in the medical, engineering and filtration fields.
