Bioconversion
Bioconversion is a process that uses biological organisms to convert organic matter into useful products. It is used in various industries, including the production of biofuels, pharmaceuticals, biochemicals, food and feed, and bioplastics. Bioconversion is an important part of sustainable development and a key approach to helping reduce the use of non-renewable resources. Its main advantages include low energy input and waste removal, improved resource efficiency and cost savings. Bioconversion also offers ecological benefits by reducing the amount of pollutants released into the environment and decreasing reliance on finite resources.
