Pulmonology
Pulmonology is a branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions of the lungs and respiratory system. It is an important discipline that plays an integral role in maintaining the health of individuals. Pulmonologists diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of conditions affecting the lungs, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, and respiratory infections.
