Diabetes Insipidus
Diabetes insipidus is a rare disorder caused by insufficient production of the hormone vasopressin, resulting in excessive thirst and the need to frequently urinate. This can lead to dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, and loss of minerals, which can have serious complications. Diabetes insipidus can be treated successfully with medications and other therapies, allowing people with the condition to live normal lives. The early diagnosis and effective management of diabetes insipidus is important for maintaining a good quality of life.
