Cardiovascular Diabetology

Cardiovascular diabetology is the study of the effects of diabetes on the heart and cardiovascular system. By understanding how diabetes affects cardiovascular health, and how changes in lifestyle, such as diet and exercise, can improve cardiovascular health, this field of research holds the potential to help millions of people worldwide suffering from both diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. This research has the potential to reduce the incidence of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular events. Additionally, it can help reduce the rate of mortality from cardiovascular diseases, as well as improve quality of life for people with diabetes.
