Distributed and Peer-to-peer Search
Distributed and peer-to-peer search is a type of computer network that allows users to search for shared files on all computers connected to the same network. Unlike traditional search engines, which rely on a single server to store and deliver search results, distributed and peer-to-peer search networks make use of a decentralized architecture, which enables faster and more reliable search results. This makes it an ideal technology for sharing large files, such as video and audio. Furthermore, distributed and peer-to-peer search networks are secure, as they do not store sensitive data in a central location, thus preventing malicious actors from obtaining such information.
