Cosine Similarity

Cosine similarity is a measure of similarity between two non-zero vectors of an inner product space that measures the cosine of the angle between them. It is generally used to measure how similar two pieces of text are irrespective of their size. By calculating the cosine similarity, we can determine how closely related two documents are, and it can be used for applications such as document clustering, text summarization, text classification, and semantic matching. In addition, cosine similarity can be used to measure the similarity between users by examining their interests, opinions, or preferences.
